The plant construction firm located in the Carinthian region of Lavanttal recorded an increased order volume in the initial weeks of the year. Moreover, the company location in St. Andrä was secured for the long term.
“In the context of good negotiations with the new owner, the course was set for the future. Long-term safeguarding of our proven company location with its rich tradition was important to the entire team. This represents a significant step on our path towards positioning K industries as a solid medium-sized company”, explains Franz Kreuzer, managing partner of K industries GmbH. The contracts for the sustainable future use of the approximately five hectare campus located directly at the St. Andrä motorway exit have now been signed. For K industries GmbH, this represents a solid basis for long-term, continued development.
68 orders taken over from the predecessor company, KRESTA, have for the most part already been processed. In recent months nearly the same number of new orders have been acquired. “Especially in Germany, we are currently conducting promising negotiations with large clients, which enables us to look to the future positively”, says Kreuzer. This fits well with the optimistic picture portrayed by the recently published “Purchasing Manager Index” which confirms the best start into the new year that Austrian industry has seen in many years.
